PDX Diaper Bank Services

Our mission is to provide free diapers and diapering supplies to low-income families through community agency partnerships.

Healthy Babies & Seniors Program

PDX Diaper Bank provides no-cost diapers and diapering supplies to our PARTNER AGENCIES, a growing network of nonprofit and government organizations that provide essential services to low-income families with children, older adults, and individuals with disabilities in Portland and the surrounding area. With the support of the community and sponsors, we are able to achieve our mission. If your family is in need of diapers, please visit our list of partner agencies to locate the ones that accept walk-in diaper requests. For cloth diapers, please email myranda@pdxdiaperbank.org to register for an upcoming cloth diapering workshop.

Family Education Program

Families

PDX Diaper Bank provides monthly Cloth Diapering on a Budget workshops to income eligible families (if a family receives SNAP or WIC, qualification is automatic). During classes, families receive valuable information and resources (including cloth diapering supplies) in order to successfully cloth diaper their children sustainably. Switching to cloth diapers saves families thousands of dollars over the course of their child(ren)’s diapering years (not to mention the environment)! For more information about upcoming workshops, please visit: CLASSES AND CLOTH DIAPERS. Pre-registration is required.

Nonprofit Agencies

In addition to supplying diapers monthly to our QUALIFIED PARTNER AGENCIES, we are dedicated to providing community education to families in need. We offer a 45 minute Cloth Diapering on a Budget workshop free of charge for other nonprofit organizations to benefit their clients. If your organization would like to invite PDX Diaper Bank into its classroom, please email us at: info@pdxdiaperbank.org
